My SA1 results... =]

I am quite satisfied with my SA1 results. This is the first time I have had two A1’s. Everyday after school I go back home and spent my time studying. It has finally paid off. But I have failed my mathematics and literature. From the start of the year I have paid extra attention to my mathematics lesson. I do not know what had gone wrong. I still have to blame myself. But for the final year examination I have decided to put my 100 % in it. I really hope to maintain my two A1’s and also to improve my mother tongue from an A2 to an A1. I also want to improve the rest of the subjects that I might have done my average in. I also want to pass my literature to at least a C6. I wish I could at least satisfy my parents for the final year examinations. They were not very pleased with these results as I have had tuition also. But I would want to make my parents proud for the finals. Well, I hope with this confidence will lead me to success.

how i had spent my june holidays ! =]

I spent the first week of my holidays going back to school for extra lessons. Through these extra lessons I get to understand the topics that I have done badly for my mid-year-examination better. My teacher tends to go through slowly and since it’s a smaller class I do not fear to ask questions and I will also not be interrupting the lesson. I get to learn at my pace. The second week was not a very adventurous week as I stayed at home for the whole week and finished all my homework’s. I went down everyday to get my lunch at the nearest coffee shop. The third week was a little fun. My relatives and I went to Sembawang Park to celebrate my uncle’s son’s one year old birthday. We had lots of fun there. We played a lot of games, went swimming and also did barbecue. The uncles and grandfather’s were in charge in barbecuing the food. The aunties, grandmother’s and mother’s were in charge in getting the tables ready and laying out the food. The children were busy playing games and enjoying themselves. The third week was fine. I went over to my grandmother’s place to take care of my little cousins, as my aunty was not feeling well. The last week was a little boring as I did last minute homework and also cleaned my house. This was how I have spent my holidays. I cannot wait for the next holidays.
